About this Integration
Gmail + Taskip
The Gmail integration connects your Gmail account to Taskip via Google OAuth, so every client email thread appears directly in your workspace. Gmail requires your own Google Cloud OAuth app, which keeps your connection independent of a shared app and avoids Google’s verification review. You can connect as many Gmail accounts as you need, and each one syncs independently.

What You Get with Gmail
Native send and receive
Client emails arrive and send straight from Gmail, no forwarding rules or aliases needed.
Multiple accounts, independent sync
Connect every teammate’s Gmail account and each one syncs on its own, with an Active status per account.
Your own OAuth app
Uses your own Google Cloud project and credentials, so access isn’t shared across other Taskip customers.
No App Passwords required
OAuth handles authentication directly, so there is no need to generate or manage Google App Passwords.
Only the access it needs
Requests only the Gmail API scopes required to send and read client email, and you can review exactly what access you are granting on the Google consent screen before connecting.
