How do I connect IMAP / Webmail to Taskip?

What happens if I disconnect IMAP / Webmail from Taskip?
Disconnecting stops all future syncs and event sends. Your existing data in both IMAP / Webmail and Taskip remains intact, nothing is deleted from either platform.
Does Taskip's IMAP integration work with Gmail and Outlook?
Gmail connects over IMAP/SMTP with an App Password, generated in your Google Account under Security → 2-Step Verification → App Passwords. Outlook and Microsoft 365 are more restrictive: Microsoft disabled plain password login for Exchange Online IMAP in 2022, and Outlook.com stopped accepting app passwords for IMAP in 2024, so a direct IMAP connection will likely fail even with the correct credentials. Check with your Microsoft 365 admin about modern-auth email access, or connect a Zoho, custom business, or Gmail inbox instead.
