Deleting a workspace permanently removes all its data, including projects, clients, invoices, tasks, automations, documents, and settings. This action cannot be undone, so it should be done with caution.
Step 1: Log in as the Workspace Owner #
Only the owner of a workspace has permission to delete it.
- Log in to your Taskip account
- Switch to the workspace you want to delete
Step 2: Access Workspace Settings #
- Click your profile icon in the top-right corner
- Select Settings
- Go to Workspace Settings
Step 3: Locate the Danger Zone #
Scroll down to the bottom of the Workspace Settings page to find the Danger Zone section.
Here you will see the Delete Workspace option.
Step 4: Delete the Workspace #
- Click Delete Workspace
- A confirmation dialog will appear
- Enter the workspace name (or other requested confirmation)
- Click Confirm or Delete Permanently
Your workspace will be removed immediately.
Important Notes #
- Irreversible Action: Once deleted, all workspace data is permanently lost.
- Billing: Any active subscription for the workspace will be canceled automatically.
- Access: All team members and clients will lose access to the workspace.
- Backups: Export important data (clients, invoices, projects) before deletion if needed.
