Overview #
Taskip’s Email Sequence feature automates follow-up emails within the Sales Pipeline. Users can set triggers based on deal activity and create multi-step sequences to engage prospects efficiently.
1. Initializing an Email Sequence #
To set up an email sequence for a deal:

Steps: #
- Navigate to Sales Pipeline
- Click on Sales Pipeline from the left sidebar.
- Select a deal from the pipeline.
- Open the Email Sequence Tab
- Inside the deal, click on the Email Sequence tab.
- Click “Initialize”
- If no sequence exists, click “Initialize” to start.
- A setup modal will appear.
- Fill in the Required Details
- From Email: Select the sender’s email.
- Title: Enter a name for the sequence.
- Trigger Type: Choose when the sequence should start (e.g., Deal Closed Date).
- Description: Provide an optional summary.
- Click “Initialize” to save.
2. Setting Triggers for an Email Sequence #
A trigger determines when the email sequence starts.

Steps: #
- Go to the Email Sequence Tab
- Inside a deal, click on Email Sequence.
- Click “Update Sequence”
- This opens the update modal.
- Select a Trigger Type
- Options:
- Deal Created Date – Triggers when a deal is created.
- Deal Closed Date – Starts after the deal is closed.
- Deal Stage Change – Triggers when the deal moves to another stage.
- Deal Task Complete – Starts when a task in the deal is completed.
- Deal Meeting Complete – Triggers after a meeting is completed.
- Custom Date – Allows a manual start.
- Options:
- Click “Update” to save.
3. Adding Email Steps to the Sequence #
Once a sequence is initialized, follow these steps to add email steps.

Steps: #
- Click “+ Add Step” in the Email Sequence tab.
- Fill in Step Details:
- Step Title: A name for the email step.
- Email Subject: The subject line of the email.
- Wait Days / Hours: The delay before sending this email.
- Email Content: Write your email body. Use dynamic variables like:

– Recipient’s full name.{{Email}}
– Recipient’s email.{{Workspace Name}}
– The workspace name.
- Click “Add Step” to save.
4. Managing and Updating the Email Sequence #
- Edit Steps: Click on an email step to modify it.
- Reorder Steps: Drag and drop email steps to adjust the sequence order.
- Delete Steps: Remove unwanted steps by clicking the delete icon.
